Valentine's Day

Well, Valentine's Day came and went. Matt and I decided to go 'light' on Valentine's Day because of our upcoming BIG expense! For our first Valentine's Day we decided to do something familiar. We have been together for 4 Valentine's Days now and for 3 out of the 4 we have eaten at the Venesian Inn in Tontitown. The one Valentine's day that we did not go to the Venesian Inn happened to be our 'accident' proposal when I found my engagement ring in Matt's pocket.

We went with our good friends, Claire and Robert and had a great time.

We are so excited that they will be getting married this fall!

We ate dinner then enjoyed a relaxing evening at Robert's house. I realized this weekend that this is what happens what iphones take over that population!

Happy (late) Valentine's Day! I look forward to many more days filled with love of family and friends.

Super Bowl

We watched the Super Bowl with some friends who recently moved but came back in town for the weekend. We got to see this precious baby!
She is at that age where she is so much fun! She was pure entertainment for the evening...oh and the Super Bowl too!
During the game she decided to WALK! It was so exciting. She just decided that she was going to walk and she did. She would fall down and get right back up. I think she decided to walk because she likes to be here with us! I am so glad that we got to see it.

Walking to mommy.

Cheering on the Saints by Walking!

Walking to Matt...he had so much fun with her, he will be a great dad...one day!

Getting into the M&M's. She loved them and probably would have finished the whole bowl.

Playing with Berkley. He was so good with her, they played together and she would just laugh at him!

Playing a little football in honor of the game.

She walked and the Saints won...but in the end she will always be a Razorback fan at heart!!

Snowflakes and Hot Cocoa

This week another snow storm blew through. We woke up to about 2 inches on the ground, which was enough to get us out of school on Monday! By lunch time Huge snowflakes were falling hard. When it stopped snowing we had accumulated about 5 inches.
God must have known I needed a day off...last Friday I took my dreaded PRAXIS 3. I have been preparing 2 years for this test. That morning the assessor and I had an hour long interview then she observed a lesson and then more interview questions! It was very stressful but my kids, over all, did a great job!
So, on our snow day Berkley and I had a very relaxing day inside. Matt took Berk outside when he was home for lunch but Berk was ready to come back inside and snuggle under the blanket. He is a very spoiled dog!I worked half of the day on a portfolio that is due soon but other than that Berkley and I caught up on our shows and stayed in our PJ's!
