We have done several home improvements to our house since we have lived here. We have learned a lot about up keeping a yard, drilling into drywall, climbing into the attic, and putting things together. We have become frequenters to Lowe's and the Wal-Mart garden center.
Matt hanging a towel hook in our bathroom. He drilled the holder into the wall and then put the hook on to discover that it was upside down! Oops!
It works great now!
Matt has event put together an easel for my classroom.

Berkley was chasing the water from inside the window. He did not know what to think about the noise or the water.
At the beginning of the summer Matt and his brother extended the front flower bed and added more plants. I am so proud of the way he has taken care of our plants. None of them have died, most of the plants even grew and flourished!
Nana gave us this plant when we moved in, it was in a pot and it was only 2 1/2 feet tall. Now it has grown and has had many buds on it this summer. I cannot wait to see what it looks like next summer.
We bought these flowers at a nursery at the beginning of the summer and they have multiplied! You can see them from the road!
We also planted this baby tree at the beginning of the summer and it has doubled in size.
I am so proud of Matt for taking care of things around the house. I cannot thank him enough for doing all the "hard" work around the house. He has been a busy bee this summer improving our house and it is finally turning into our home.
