Berkley was not a fan of the cold weather.
We did our usual lasagna dinner with family friends. But this year we couldn't go look at Christmas lights because of the icy roads. All the churches in the area were canceled so we missed our Christmas Eve church service as well. While we were eating dinner a think layer of ice accumulated on the roads. It was very scary driving home, but we made it safely! It will probably be a long time before it snows on Christmas Eve again, I'm glad it happened on our first Christmas Eve.
